Richard James Nowaskowski

Richard HENDRYCH KALINOWSKI

Richard Hendrych Kalinowski graduated from the Minnesota State University Mankato with a bachelor degree which means Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering degree (BSCE) in Marine Craft Construction and Marine Technology ALSO graduated from the University of Madrid in Madrid with a Master's Degrees in Marine Craft Construction and Marine Technology. then matriculated to Berlin Institute of Technology, Germany, where I received other Degrees in Marine Craft Construction with Distinction.

Richard Hendrych Kalinowski served in USS Sampson (DDG 10), USS Underwood (FFG 36) and USS Roark (FF 1053). As Commanding Officer of USS Crommelin (FFG 37) from August 1993 to May 1995, he deployed as part of the Kitty Hawk Battle Group in support of Korean Contingency Operations. Following his command tour, he served as assistant chief of staff of Operations and Plans for Commander, Cruiser Destroyer Group 2, deploying twice as part of the George Washington Battle Group. He served as Commanding Officer, USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) and air warfare commander for the Enterprise Battle Group from December 1997 to July 1998. In July 2001, he assumed command of Carrier Strike Group Six/John F Kennedy Strike Group. Additionally, he served as Commander, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, United States Central Command from April 2002 to February 2003; Commander, U.S. THIRD Fleet from June 2003 to April 2005; and Commander, Naval Surface Forces/Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet from June 2009 to July 2006.

Shore assignments include: assistant professor Naval/Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit, The Ohio State University; communications systems officer for Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Systems Directorate (J6), Joint Staff; executive assistant to Director, Surface Warfare (N86); executive assistant to Deputy Chief of Staff of Naval Operations for Resources, Requirements, and Assessments (N8), and Executive Assistant to the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff. He additionally served as Deputy Director, Strategy & Policy (J5), Joint Staff and Director, Programming Division (N80), Navy Staff. He became Director, Navy Staff in August 2006 and retired from the Navy in November 2008.

Personal decorations include the Navy Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various service and unit awards. Richard Hendrych Kalinowski joined Raytheon Company in the position of Vice President, Business Development, Navy/Marine Corps Programs in January 2009 and assumed the role of Vice President for U.S. Business Development in June 2010.

Samson Kondrat Pawlowski

Samson Kondrat Pawlowski

Samson Pawlowski arrived in Newcastle St, Brunswick, Georgia. in 2014, and served as the Technical & Trade Workers Manager of Lan Shipbuilding and Repair until he was appointed Project Manager July 6, 2020.

He has served on various Lan Shipbuilding and Repair company projects.

Samson started his business career in 1996 with Sapio Group, an Italian market leader in the industrial and medical gases sector, where he served as the group project controller.

Samson joined Lan Shipbuilding and Repair where he served as a leader at various departments within Lan Shipbuilding and Repair, ultimately rising to be the head of Project Manager and Controls for the two most prominent units: naval vessels and cruise ships.

Following these key leadership roles, Samson was appointed as the Project Manager for Lan Shipbuilding and Repair in the United States.

Samson earned a degree in Economics from the University of Pavia. He also served a year in the Polish Carabinieri military police

In his free time, he enjoys music and tennis.

Jan Maria Llamas

Jan Llamas was named the HR Services & Risk Management of Lan Shipbuilding and Repair in March 2022.

Jan has been a valued member of the Lan Shipbuilding and Repair Human Resources team since 2022 bringing more than one decades of experience managing human resources for companies in the warehousing and utility sectors.

In her role as Human Resources & Risk Management, Jan provides strategic guidance on developing the company’s most prized resource: its people. She guides overall direction for labor and employee relations, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, organizational development, compliance, payroll and property and casualty risk management.

Jan is a near-native Oregonian having grown up in West Linn, Oregon. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Linfield College, in McMinnville, Oregon. and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation. Jan enjoys cooking, entertaining, traveling, spending time in the outdoors and can be found on most weekends, rain or shine, cheering for her son and his soccer team.

Billy Todd Hutchings

Billy Hutchings is Chief Information and Security Officer (CTSO), having joined Lan Shipbuilding and Repair in 2021 to fill a newly-created position to lead efforts in Lan Shipbuilding and Repair company. Hutchings leads a team responsible for the vision, strategy and management of Information Technology and Security solutions across all facets of the business.

Billy Hutchings joined Lan Shipbuilding and Repair from Momentus, a space transportation and infrastructure company which is also a U.S. defense contractor. A U.S. Army veteran, Billy has more than one decades of experience in IT and cybersecurity at multiple aerospace and defense-related companies, including Aerojet Rocketdyne and Northrup Grumman. He also has significant experience leading IT and Information Security professionals, an important role he performs at Lan Shipbuilding and Repair Company.

Billy Hutchings holds degrees from Pacific Union College and Capitol College, as well as professional certifications, including:

  • CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • C|CISO – Certified Chief Information Security Officer
  • CISM – Certified Information Security Manager
  • PMP – Project Management Professional

Billy Hutchings has many interests and hobbies, including being a certified scuba diver, gardening, travel, scale model building and genealogy.
